Vijaya Fine Arts Society is one of the leading art institute in our state. It was established in 1947, at a time when India attained freedom from the British yoke. It has been closely associated with the growth and development of fine arts, especially in the northern part of Karnataka. It has been rendering an excellent coaching and training to the students and lovers of fine arts. It has produced a number of artists, art teachers, musician and scholars, who have earned distinction and reputation at the state and national levels. Some of its students have been in the fore-front of the contemporary fine arts movement.

Its gigantic buildings, trendy furniture and cozy computer stations do not measure an Academic Institute. The real value of a college lies in the hands of its faculty members.
